We had a wonderful stay at the Retreat. It was clean, easy to find, and very peaceful. The hosts were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Thank you!

1. The house went well above our expectations!. It was very clean, The beds were comfortable, even the sofa and chairs were comfortable. Extra points for everything being labeled. No need to open every drawer to find a spoon or run around clicking light switches. The outside area was amazing as well. The shaded sitting area was used almost as much as inside seating. We used the grill and umbrella as well. Bonus there are donkeys on the property and they were so cute!.The host went above and beyond. We arrived to two dozen fresh eggs in the refridgerator as well as carrots to feed the donkeys. Before our arrival they communicated often and gave great directions to the place. When I asked if fishing was allowed in the pond they offered to buy some fishing rods! I declined because we had our own but who does that. They supplied charcoal for the grill! To sum it up, The house was wonderful and clean, The amenitees outside were great, and we got bonus donkeys!I would reccomend this location to anyone!

Beautiful home! Absolutely the nicest host we have ever come in contact with. Not only was Bonnie accomodating, but also left fresh eggs and the fixings for breakfast along with water and orange juice in the refrigerator. After a long day of driving from the Mississippi coast it was appreciated! Thank you!

Great stay, great place, just what the family needed for a couple of days. Host was more than welcoming, providing farm fresh eggs and bacon. That’s southern hospitality at its best!
