The location was excellent — within walking distance to everywhere. The person who welcomed us was really warm and friendly. She had even left us some water. The ceiling in the room was high, which made the space feel airy, even though it didn’t get much natural light. The biggest advantage of this accommodation is definitely its location.

When we entered the room, everything was clean, but when we woke up, there were many small flies and bugs in the bathroom. On the second day, there were still lots of flies. It was quite surprising, especially since the window was closed the entire time. There were many stairs. We had read about this in the reviews, but we didn’t expect them to be this narrow and so many. It was quite difficult with our suitcases. On the first night, we were locked out. Thankfully, someone from one of the 3–4 apartments in the building came out and let us in. The key we were given was incorrect. Later, we learned the code, and that solved the problem. I believe the building is very old, so it’s somewhat expected that the room doesn’t get much light and cleanliness might be an issue — but still, it can make you feel a bit uncomfortable. Finally, we had to leave one night earlier than planned. We understand that we couldn’t get a refund, but they could have at least offered a partial refund. Also, since we had already paid the city tax for the night we didn’t stay, we couldn’t get that back either.
