Nexus House Saigon Central - District 1

The staff

Incredibly small room

Quiet, location is near to most of the tourist attractions, surrounding has nice local food restaurants.

Could have a better wifi connection.

Staff were very kind and helpful

Rooms are so small. Just two small shower towels provided and no floor towels. Lower floor rooms can hear all the noise from traffic so it can be hard to sleep.

Nice size second room option. Lobby area is nice.

I booked a room and said on the special request that I needed a damp free room. No mold or smells, please. I arrived at 7am. I had to wait to check in til 3. I understand that. It’s normal. However, they waited til returned to inform me of the room that I booked. Spider webs coming from the ceiling in the bathroom. The room I stayed in has an area carpet that felt and looked nasty. I used my slippers. The attendant said I should see the room first and she offered to cancel it if I didn’t like or up grade it. I ended up finding the room she was offering as an upgrade for a better price online. Business practice seemed shady. Also I asked staff in they could call to confirm a bank was open and have the currency I needed. Staff was not very helpful. They did the bare minimum.
