Songjeong Coco Hotel

The Coco hotel is very close to the beach and also not far from the Songjeong subway station. So visiting Busan and surrounding cities (with the KTX) is easy.

Unfortunately the bathtub had black fungus all along the edges with the wall (amongst others), and the rail for the sliding door to the bathroom was also very dirty. (I had already read that in the very poor reviews, and sadly enough it was true.) So I bought some bleach and a sponge at the local supermarket and cleaned the bathroom thoroughly. I could have asked the staff of course, but I figured doing it myself would yield the best results. After cleaning the bathroom, the room was perfect and we had a great stay in Busan / Songjeong. I left the remaining bleach behind, hoping that they would pick up on the hint and the surprisingly clean bathroom. :-D

I liked the location and the price was great. It was good for the price and the location is right by the beach. The neighborhood was busy so great to walk around near the beach. There was lots of food in the area open late and a convenience store right next door. It is near the luge and has close access to the subway.

The bed was hard and not very comfortable. The TV was not facing the bed. The hallway was sticky but was cleaned after a day. There was nowhere to hang the towel in the bathroom.

Établissement à la propreté très improbable. Éviter les chambres avec futons. Très inconfortable. Nos filles ont changé d’hôtel
