Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas - Adults Only- All Inclusive

The service was exceptional. We were given a mimosa while we were checking in! Everytime we went somewhere, we were greeted and helped immediately, no waiting. In the lobby, in a bar, or a restaurant, always great service. I had the best fillet minon I've ever had in my life at the Krystal, and our waiter Daniel was very good. The girl at the coffee bar, Capachino, made great coffees with a nice strong coffee flavor and the fancy foam. Very good! They had some good entertainment and shows! We relaxed a lot, but we saw two good shows, a good live band, some fun activities by the pool, and went out dancing next door at the Riu Caribe. We danced to the live band, but almost everybody else just watched them. I appreciated the complementary shuttle that they hire for their guests. Tipping at the resort isn't required, and it seemed infrequent, but we tipped most of the time. They really appreciated it when we did. Didn't make it to the the Caribe for their pool party. Looked like a high energy and somewhat wild time at rhe Caribe. Definitely a good hotel, and no complaints.

The resort was wonderful. The à la carte restaurants were amazing and no reservations were required but we found out you need to get there early for a spot or to be put on a waiting list. The buffet was good. Typical buffet. But the staff were amazing! Always ready to serve you a drink regardless of where you were…beach, lobby, buffet…The grounds were immaculate. The rooms are slightly outdated but that was the only negative. We also enjoyed a couple massage. Not cheap but a wonderful experience.
