Bentley Lodge Guest House

Great welcome, lovely room with luxury extras like chocolate and toiletries. Hosts were so helpful, I struggled with the heat so they ensured our room was kept cool and gave me a beach brolly to use. The location was good, not too near centre but an easy 20 minute walk to the seafront and shops. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were fab, will definitely be returning.

Absolutely amazing b&b and host! The room was immaculate and a lot of attention to detail was made. From the homemade fudge and rocky road, the soaps and shampoos, to the choccies and sweets on the pillow on arrival - we were made to feel incredibly special from the moment we stepped inside - actually, Debbie greeted us by our car; so even before stepping inside! The breakfasts were top tier and thought it was awesome that I asked for a glass of water on the first breakfast and then the 2nd breakfast there was already a glass waiting for me - just the little things make the stay so memorable. We even had a card and choccies waiting for us as it was our anniversary. Oh, and when we arrived there was an amazing aroma of fruit cake fresh out of the oven which I commented on - and Debbie gave us a couple of slices on our departure! Just wonderful!

Made to feel very welcome. Lovely fresh, clean room with a comfortable bed and good quality linen, which always aids a good night's sleep. Also huge bath towels which I love. Good selection of teas and coffee with fresh milk provided, which was nice. There were also some sweet treats and a tourist map provided in the room, which was very useful. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious and even though we only stayed 1 night we were given some home made fruit cake on departure. This was our first guest house stay for quite some time and I was very impressed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Amazing stay! Room very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful owners - nothing was too much trouble. Car parking on private forecourt. A really lovely 5 night stay. Thank you so much for the hospitality.
