Nice hotel close to the beach and a very nice and helpful landlady

The room is basic but functional. It’s kept spectacularly clean. Our air con broke and was fixed the same day when Gorgina called out the maintenance. We ate out mostly but the kitchen is limited for anyone wanting to cook in their room.
Pool is small and not much space for sunbeds but it was never busy enough to cause a problem.
The hotel is on a road and backs on to the beach. All the shops, bars and restaurants are on or around this busy road. The area isn’t picturesque but go to Chania for that.
Would highly recommend for couples. Or families with older children. The beach is lovely and you can go out in the clear sea for quite away before it gets deep.
