You'll find a kayak on site at this family-friendly cottage. Lake Norman is just a short walk away, so you can leave your car at the property, which offers onsite parking, or jump in your vehicle to make short work of the 3-minute drive to Mountain Creek Park.

After you return, you can unwind by the outdoor pool or sip a drink on the balcony; you may also like the BBQ grill. As for the great indoors, you can try your hand at table tennis, or enjoy the free WiFi and TV.

As you settle into this 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom rental, you'll find a fireplace, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a desk. Be sure to check out the kitchen, stocked with a coffee maker, cookware, and paper towels. And you can even pack a bit lighter because there's a washer and dryer.
