This is a lovely guesthouse really close to the bazaar but still very quiet. The family who run it are absolutely lovely & incredibly welcoming. The breakfast is excellent & having the pool was ideal. We had the room with the private patio area which was really nice to relax in.

Position was perfect for visiting Gjirokaster. The whole Mele family was extremely kind and supportive. Very good breakfast served in the high veranda of the house overlooking the city and the nearby mountains. And of course the swimming pool, which was essential in defeating the hot climate, with a cool swim after walking and climbing up and down in 35° heat. It is also possible to have dinner at the house, very good and at s reasonable price.
Past negative reviews and low votes, which in our opinion are unjustified. But everyone has their own tastes and sensibility...
