So quiet and peaceful, and only ten minute walk to village centre.
Charlotte and Karen were friendly hosts, nothing too much for them.

We received a lovely warm welcome upon arrival before being shown to our very spacious and well appointed en-suite bedroom.
The double aspect room was light & airy with views over the moor on one side & church yard on the other.
The hospitality tray had a good selection of tea, coffee & water plus some delicious homemade sweet treats.
Charlotte & Karen provided some really useful information on the area, local walks and eateries, all duly sampled during the course of our stay.
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with a wide choice of options, hot or cold.
Would definitely recommend a stay at Halmer if looking for somewhere in Goathland.
We have already booked a return visit!

ABSOLUTELY delightful Guest House, with extremely delightful hosts. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place.
Rooms were excellent, location excellent & breakfasts OUT OF THIS WORLD. You won’t need to eat for the rest of the day!!!
Will definitely be back.
