i can not brag enough about my stay in cartagena it was my first time visiting out of the country and i could have had a much better experience from the moment i arrived i was treated amazing immediately felt like i have been here before almost like a home feeling the staff are the best part of the stay very caring professional and just overall amazing people i felt safe my entire stay and if i did have any issues which truthfully only problems i had was finding directions which they helped me with any way for the amount you literally can’t beat it i plan on coming back on my next visit to cartagena overall i can’t say much more besides if they have an open room book it you are close to everything SAFE and the best staff ever would recommend 1000%

I stayed at Hotel El Viajero from April 24–28, 2026. The front desk staff on every shift were attentive and responsive, and housekeeping was great. The room was okay—there was an AC issue the first night, but they provided a fan promptly. The location was convenient to events and festivities, and the price was reasonable for the area. Overall, a decent stay.
