Maiala Park Lodge

Superb property and very nice and helpful hosts

Owners were great hosts, location was quiet and peaceful, room was clean and well equipped

Self check in at bowerbird cottage, instructions clear for entering through driveway gate if closed but gates closed as we went to drive out and wouldn’t self open so partner had to jump over fence to put in gate code, unsure if we could have driven out through other sets of gates but wasn’t going to try as a very steep and uneven surface and would need to do a multi point turn to get back to lower carpark/driveway area-cottage has all the facilities you need to be self sufficient food wise a little cafe around the corner less than 2mins away where Brekky/lunch can be had but no dining out options, a home away from home and a lovely time had 🙂

Above and beyond with our special surprise engagement stay. Beautiful cottage with everything you need, homemade biscuits and nothing was too much trouble with organising some additional engagement extras. My now fiance and I loved it!
