The wheelhouse is a lovely property, very modern and spacious. It was beautifully clean with two great bathrooms. It has a sitting out area outside and it is very quiet and peaceful. Excellent place for a dog, with land to walk around giving a lovely view down to Whitby and the sea.

Lovely converted barn all on one level which was perfect for my mother in law. Very new and modern, great airy spaces with all mod cons. Perfect location close to Whitby and the North York moors with plenty of great sites to explore. Very dog friendly! - own small garden and a whole field to scumper in!

Lovely cottage, well finished and spotless - it’s been finished to a very high standard.Easy drive into Whitby (for the Abbey & 199 steps) and conveniently located for exploring the coastline, as well as inland. We had trips to Robin Hood’s Bay, Ravenscar & Saltburn by the Sea, amongst others. We definitely recommend a stay.

Just returned from a fabulous short break at The Wheel House. It has been beautifully renovated to a very high spec whilst also retaining the charm of a barn. Immaculately clean and kitted out with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for ourselves with plenty of places to explore all within an easy driving distance. I would highly recommend this little gem (even though I would selfishly like to keep it secret).
