We stayed at the Hôtel l'Atelier for 3 nights for the Ironman Vichy race weekend. Hotel is a little outside the Vichy town in a quiet country side. There is a supermarket walking distance you can have everything you need. Hotel is very clean, and quiet. Breakfast was typical French breakfast and we had coffee/tea etc. during the day without any charge. You also have things you can buy at the hotel if you should need anything in the middle of the night. Water, beer, snacks etc..
Madame Aurelie, our hotel host, was absolutely wonderful. She went out of her way to make us comfortable with our absurd race schedule hours and made sure we were well taken care of before and after the race.
I will recommend anyone visiting Vichy, surroundings or going to race at next years event to stay there.
Thanks again for the hospitality.
