Our family had an amazing stay at the Cabin! The mountain view is absolutely real and breathtaking—unlike some listings that advertise “mountain views” but all you see are trees. Every morning and evening, we couldn’t stop admiring the scenery. The cabin is beautiful, incredibly spacious, and has a wonderful layout that’s perfect for large families. The beds were so comfortable, and the kitchen was one of the best-stocked we’ve ever seen—literally everything we needed for cooking was there. We also loved having the BBQ available. The location was also very convenient to Blue Ridge and nearby attractions. We would absolutely recommend Chasing Moonlight to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway!

The view, the view, the view! The town of Blue Ridge is amazing!

The drive up to the cabin.

The views and space the cabin offered were excellent. The location to hiking and local dining and shopping were great. Having a hot tub available after long hikes was a plus.

Maintenance of the property was confusing for such a highly rated property. A laminated note that the refrigerator did not cool well was unacceptable as we had guests with medication that needed refrigeration. Extra linen was not available. Towels were rough and did not smell well. The septic tank filter needed cleaning while there. The property manager was prompt but having to stay at the property while plumbers addressed the problem took away from our time.

View, spacious home, location.

Older really used furnishings, ice maker did not work, cook stove “eyes” would not turn up as they should, gas logs were not easy to work and the temperatures while we were there were in the 20’s with lots of wind. HVAC was not programmed for us considering the weather forecast. We arrived our first night and had planned to use the hot tub and it was not hot. For a large home the seating in the living area was limited. We had a group of 6 ladies and the seating for chatting and enjoying each other was not good.
