Me and my family loved staying at Villa Aska. It’s just five minutes from a sandy beach, with stunning Lopud views and a really private feel. The space is large, with a lovely terrace, shared jacuzzi, private outdoor shower, and barbecue—definitely one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. The homemade lemonade, jam and fresh tomatoes from the garden made it feel extra special and welcoming!

Clean, great quiet location, all necessary amenities for cooking and washing. Friendly owner nearby but privacy kept. Lovely garden with turtles.
Nothing. Maybe for families with kids under 3y some 50 steps might be tiresome.

Great communication from the host via WhatsApp. Being walked up to the apartment to save getting lost with luggage!
Fresh lemonade on arrival and we were given fresh fruit on a couple of occasions which was delicious.
The apartment is lovely and spacious. The beds were comfy. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace looking at the gorgeous view of Lopud.
We were told that the 'mother in law' would meet us from the ferry. When we arrived a youngish man came over and said a word we hadn't heard before (we booked villa aska and he said 'villa mihajlovic' so we said 'no, thank you', also we thought we were waiting for a female). After 5 minutes we realised he was still waiting, as were we. So my husband went over and said we were waiting to go to villa aska and was that who he was waiting for? He then rolled his eyes and said yes I came over and asked you. We then walked to the apartment with him obviously irritated, in silence. He didn't explain anything about the apartment, except to say what the WiFi code was. We weren't told about the jacuzzi pool so didn't use it. We asked about the tortoises, as our son was excited to see them and he just waved his arm in a general direction. Then throughout our stay he completely ignored us when we walked past him at the villa or in the street. Not very friendly or welcoming.
However, the other hosts were lovely, friendly and communicative!!
