Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Traverse City

Good breakfast, and nice rooms. Good air conditioning on a hot weekend. Walkable to McDonald's and some other little shopsl

Sort of far from downtown and the charms of Traverse City, so if you're hoping to walk around and hit the bars, you should make plans to get home.

It was the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot of nice hotels.

I have no complaints about anything.

The breakfast was great. It had something for everyone and the staff was on the ball making sure everything was available for guests.

The bed and bedding was not too comfortable. I know it is a newer facility but it felt like the mattress was old and the bedding was short and not fresh.

Super clean. Great staff and easy to access.

I'm not sure how this building was constructed but I have never stayed a place that was so loud my entire life. It doesn't matter how careful you are with closing the door, the lock makes this obnoxiously loud noise. So that happened every single night at all hours of the night as people have the right to come and go as they please. Also the person above us was incredibly loud and kept us up until 3 am every night. It was not their fault; it was obvious they were only walking around. I think the actual building was built cheaply as they are now, so if you value sleep and quietness, do not stay here. I am also not a light sleeper. Also, the fridges have one temp setting so everything just freezes :)
