Elia Sea Suites

The staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful. The rooms were very large and comfortable, with terraces right on the sea. It was withing walkable distance to the beach, Old Town, and many great restaurant.

I was very surprised that for the price, there was no bar or restaurant and that they only offered food either poolside or to your room. Food service ended about 7pm. Also, the pool opened about 10 and closed about 7 as well, so you were limited. When I was there, people would get towels in the early morning and put them on the pool loungers to save them for when the pool opened. Staff told me this was not allowed, but it was not stopped all the same. The room was huge and spacious, but the lighting was very harsh and bright, with no options to dim it. Also, my coffee machine did not work for the first 3 days and it took some time to get a new one. I know this sounds trivial, but there is no milk in the room for the coffee. I realize that this is a newer location for the franchise and still going thru growing pains, but for what I paid, it was not worth the price.

No shade by the pool

Small and personable. Room view was anazing onto the sea. Ground floor, no stairs and breakfast room a few steps away. Breakfasts were fabulous and the staff were very friendly and helpful .

Only 1 chair in the room . We had draw straws to sit on it each day .

The room was roomy and clean and the view from the room was excellent, right over the rocks and ocean. Breakfast choice was very good and most items good quality, however the scrambled egg was totally nuked, inedible on all 4 mornings!

The pictures on the app are misleading in that the angles don’t show the scruffy building site next door and the very large construction across the street. This made the view from the pool area at the front very unsightly. Staff friendliness was mixed - some were great and very helpful but others were grumpy and a little rude. The breakfast lady never smiled once!!
