Pastoral Hotel Motel

Lovely stop over on our way across the Nullarbor. Have stayed twice now going each way. Inexpensive basic accommodation.

All good really

The cleanliness and comfort of the room exceeded our expectations. Dinner at the Pastoral Hotel was superb.

A full length metal shutter on the outside of our room's window which faced the hotel carpark suggested a security/safety issue. There was some yelling from the carpark, presumably from hotel patrons at closing time, that woke up my wife. That said, there was no evidence that anyone had tampered with our vehicle which was parked immediately in front of our room in the hotel carpark.

Very comfortable and clean. Liked the fact it had a microwave, bowls and cutlery

Shower water pressure

The bar and other staff were very friendly and receptive , service was great , food was good.

My room number 13 shower was not working and was in obvious disrepair, so i had no shower morning one, i reported it to staff , on return that night shower was not repaired, staff gave me a different room , it was fitted out with a proper shower area everything else was fine. As a note 2 other house guests who stay there often stated that they had been in that room weeks before and had reported same issues. Also i think the room plumbing for all needs tap washers and other fittings checked , the toilet doors in men’s main bar area , door rams are no good and slam behind you, screen door on room 2 slams shut. Perhaps a proper maintenance inspection is needed throughout. And what is the continual flow of water coming from bottle dept through the carpark? I would stay again as the staff were excellent.
