Secluded Country Cottage in the Texas Hill Country

I’m afraid to leave the glowing review because every time we find a place we love, the next time we want to stay the price has doubled. Haha. I am just joking. I will go ahead and leave the glowing review because that’s what it deserves. The place was super clean. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s nice and secluded. So many colorful birds and butterflies. And not too far away from other things like Enchanted Rock and downtown Fredericksburg. We will definitely seek out Ravenwood again in the future.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! Quiet. Secluded. Everything you would ever want in a relaxing home away from home. Everything is perfect. It’s blatantly obvious this host takes pride in their property. They have thought of everything you might need or want during your stay. The “lazy morning” breakfast provided by the host for our first morning was such a kind and thoughtful gift. Homemade granola, yogurt, home baked orange cranberry bread and personal sausage kolaches, plus an assortment of teas and coffees with all the fixings. We had a good relaxing evening on our last night, sitting on the cozy front porch, drinks in hand, listening to the rain, covered in a blanket, and watching the hummingbirds and other wildlife flit around in front of us. This cottage is so cozy and comfortable. We will definitely be back year after year!

Clean, well decorated, beautiful patio/paths

We enjoyed our stay at the country cottage, the cottage is very cozy and a great place for a couple wanting to get away. We liked that it was secluded and felt like we were way out in the country. Very clean. Would definitely stay there again!
