The cottage is perfect for a beach getaway as it retains the old world charm that reminds me of beach getaways as a child. It is well located across from the beach and with the park next door it is relaxing and quiet. We found everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen. A small suggestion is to change the bulb above the kitchen table as the current bulb is more ornamental and provides virtually no light. Highly recommend staying here.

With an off dog beach not far away, we were so happy to also bring our dog with us! The beach at Woodgate is spectacular and we enjoyed several walks on it each day. The house itself is comfortable and the rennovation is good. Although there were only 3 stairs from the kitchen/dining area to the lounge and bathroom, I found them a little steep due to a chronic back condition. However, for generally fit people, this would not be a problem at all. We had a lovely time and hope to be back. The bathroom was on the small side but I believe the owners are considering a bathroom renovation. The kitchen was well equipped.

Very clean.. nice linen, big fridge and large deck for drinks and breakfast. Great week away. Definitely recommend.
