The room was a good size and very clean.
There were tea & coffee making facilities available too.
The breakfast was good value albeit limited. a variety of cereals, toast, coffee , tea, (no decaf), orange juice, cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, hash browns & mushrooms. Items were not replenished once taken, so a later breakfast sitting may not be value for money.
Paying £10 for parking per 24hrs.
Limited number of disabled parking paces, I could see only two spaces (no blue badges displayed on other dashboards) and the parking area was full and busy with event deliveries.
The multiple problems with key card not providing room access on repeated occasions needs attention.
Placing an elderly person with limited mobility in a room on the furthest corridor away from the exit was disappointing, despite having included this info at the original booking stage.

I wasn’t expecting much other than getting my head down for night to break a long drive. But was very pleasantly surprised, all staff were amazing, very welcoming and helpful. It looks a bit like a holiday camp from outside, but rooms had all you could want, bed was super comfortable too. I did worry that I could hear noise from corridor early evening, but I slept well and undisturbed. Shower lacks pressure but worked and was hot and very clean.
Location is on a major A road so you need a car. But petrol station next door has mini M&S that’s well stocked so once there you sorted
