The accommodation was lovely, clean, comfortable and in a great location, making it easy to explore the city.

Everything was exactly as described, and our host was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

The apartment was exactly what we wanted - close to major attractions (we walked everywhere but took the metro to the Vatican), spacious, comfortable bed, clean, excellent air conditioning, and quiet for a good sleep. We had a bedroom with an attached en-suite bathroom and shared the kitchen with someone else in the other bedroom. Because we were both out touring most of the day, we only saw the other guest briefly one afternoon so it was quite private. Elena, the host, was exceptional. She quickly replied to any questions I had and was very helpful. She even checked in with us via WhatsApp to make sure our stay was comfortable. She also made an excellent dinner recommendation at a local family run restaurant.

We didn’t realize that apartments for rent aren’t supposed to provide soap and shampoo but it was easily solved. Just something good to know for anyone traveling from North America where we are accustomed to having this provided.

Appartamento molto confortevole

The room was in a shared apartment, sharing facilities with another room, which was not what we wanted. The Booking.com description didn't make this obvious, it didn't mention it, and so it wasn't an accurate listing. It should have been marketed very clearly as a shared apartment vs private accommodation. Location was good and the beds were comfortable.

In order to secure the private apartment, we had to pay extra money directly to the host.
