Very comfortable stay, room overlooked Windsor castle as promised.
Staff very helpful.
Hadn’t realised it was a bag of continental breakfast which was disappointing in its contents.

The location is amazing and the building is old so quite cool to stay in this kind of venue. The Ivy is attached and the castle is so close! It was really clean and the staff were friendly.
We paid for breakfast but didn’t realise there was no restaurant! Breakfast was a little pack up, it was well stocked but not what we were expecting. The bed was quite uncomfortable, really springy and the pillows were old and well used. I always strip the bed when leaving a hotel room and the pillows had definitely seen better days and the mattress topper was stained.

Location.
I was charged TWICE for one night's stay by Booking.com. I contacted the hotel who said it was not their fault. Booking.com has not refunded me.

Booked an accessible room ,BUT it had a huge step from bedroom to bathroom with nothing to hold onto. I use crutches and am very breathless.. Advertised as supplying breakfast for extra payment qhich we paid in advance BUT there was no dining room and I had to dress every morning anfmd go to reception and collect a paper bag with assorted inedible bread, muffin, chew bars etc
Shocking! Not really a "hotel" at all and cost a lot of money.
