We liked the rural location. We were able to sit outside at the front of the house most evenings. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The downstairs is very spacious. The sofa bed in the lounge was comfortable. The town is a short drive away and has a selection of bars and restaurants. The supermarket is more than adequate.
The stairs were a problem for one of us ( mobility issues) as they are steep and the handrail is against the wall for much of the way so can’t be gripped properly. Fortunately, one of us used the sofa bed in the lounge.
