Breakfast was very good. they had plant milk, although not Oat milk . Although the hotel didn't have a restaurant, the staff were very helpful in looking up restaurants that were open on the town's closing day. They also didn't object to us having a kind of picnic in the guests' lounge ,even as our grandsons had borrowed plates and cutlery from the breakfast room.
All the stairs !! We had been warned that the hotel was in an old building in the centre of town and had no lift but we hadn't expected to have to climb so many stairs . 4 1/2 storeys from the car park to our room ! Not easy for 2 x 88 years old .
