Such a beautiful apartment in a gorgeous area. It had everything we needed and was so comfortable. The views from veranda are stunning and you can listen to the river. The host Erik is lovely and went out of his way to help us. It is truly magical. We couldn’t believe how lovely it was and feel lucky to have stayed there.

Voor drie dagen was dit ons vakantieparadijs. Een heerlijk koel plekje in een gehucht op de berg met fantastisch uitzicht. Er was een hartelijk ontvangst, het appartement was sfeervol en nog veel mooier dan de foto's. En er was een poes (Felicia) die kwam knuffelen wanneer zij wilde. Het terras was zo fijn, met het geluid van de rivier op de achtergrond en vol vlinders. De pittige wandeling naar ref. Vittorio Emanuele is een aanrader. Wij komen hier graag nog eens terug. De weg ernaartoe is even wennen, maar hoort bij het bijzondere gehucht dat Chevrere is. En je moet wel goed ter been zijn, want je bereikt het appartement vanaf de weg met een betonnen trap. Wij misten alleen een afwasteil. Verder was alles perfect.

This was the most expensive of twenty or so bookings made this year in Italy, and by far the most disappointing. The apartment is VERY dark. The lighting is creative but cannot make up for an almost complete lack of natural light One of the two windows gives onto an internal shared hallway so that the curtains need to be drawn for privacy The village is in a very steep valley which results in it receiving little direct sunlight … at least in late August We had looked forward to using the garden but it was always in deep shade. There is no extractor fan in the bathroom and the only window is into the kitchen! There is an enormous industrial double sink and drainer which is totally out of place. The cooker is a huge antique catering stove designed for very large pots. It is difficult to light and dangerous to use. Together the sinks and stove take up all but a small cluttered working area. There is no extractor fan.
