The property was very spacious, everything you needed being away from home :) we were a short drive from zip world, Brecon Beacons, dinas rock and the bat cave, and everyone in the village we’re very nice and welcoming
Not that I didn’t like the property but we did have to give the sides and drawers a wipe down on arrival as the cleaners wasn’t very thorough but that’s not the hosts fault, apart from that the house was lovely, being a host myself I know how rushed the cleaners can be sometimes :) especially in the heat

The property itself was a good size and in a fantastic location, particularly for BikePark Wales and the many local walks nearby. It had the potential to be a wonderful place to stay and served as a great base for exploring the area.
Unfortunately, the property felt quite tired and in need of some TLC. The cleanliness was below the standard we expected, the garden was overgrown and not particularly enjoyable to use, and the bed in the master bedroom was broken, which affected our comfort during the stay.
With some attention to maintenance, cleaning, and general upkeep, this could be a lovely holiday property in an excellent location.

The accommodation was in the perfect location to visit local attractions. We were visiting for the weekend so we went to Swansea one day and Cardiff and Caerphilly Castle another day.
The only thing I would recommend is fixing the garden gate. We have a dog so we couldn't let her roam around in the garden. However we were able to lock the gate in the patio so our dog was happy just roaming around there.
