I stayed here as a solo traveler, doing some genealogical research in the area. The place is very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. It’s nicely decorated with period art and furniture. I really liked that it has a big kitchen/dining room as you walk in (rooms upstairs) and I was able to keep things in the fridge and have my meals there too. It kind of felt like having run of the house. It was an excellent value for a super reasonable price. Oh, and the people who run it are great!
The property was fine. There weren’t many restaurants in town but for my purposes I was fine with eating in the dining area.
