It's in the Tenderloin, but the area has improved since I lived there in my youth.
The location is great,if you are going to see a show at The Great American Music Hall.
No mini fridge or microwave.

Personal was very friendly and helpful. Free parking was a big plus. Security was very good despite the location.
Location was a bit sketchy. A lot of homeless people milling about and druggies shooting up around the perimeter.

I was just a block away from the concert venue. The room was clean, and there was parking, even though it was very difficult to squeeze into the parking space; the staff helped me back in.
There was no elevator to the second floor (I'm disabled and walk with a cane, so lugging my stuff up the stairs was incredibly painful). There was no mini fridge in the room, no microwave (less important), and no coffee maker. There is a room safe, if that kind of thing matters to you. If there was wifi, I was not informed of it, so I ended up hotspotting from my phone and used up all of my data. There is also a security deposit of $ 150-something for a night's stay.
