This place is a beautiful historic place within walking distance to downtown Eureka. Beds were comfy and decorated cute. There was cold water in our mini fridge. The living/kitchen area (shared) was stocked with bottled water and an ice machine. There was also coffee provided. The staff was so friendly and helpful!
The property was great! Rocking chairs and swings on both the upper and lower deck.

I love the property. You do have to climb a lot of stairs, so you need to get in shape. It’s so close to downtown. I’ve stayed there several times. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are great. You can actually feel the vibe of Eureka can sit outside and listen to the birds in the morning and great neighbors who are walking around I really enjoy the Piedmont.
The only thing that was off was our toilet ran and we called maintenance and they came right away. I just didn’t want their water bill to be crazy or I didn’t want it to run all night.

We loved having private access to our suite. We also loved the balcony and coziness of our room. We were close to EVERYTHING! We really admired the woodwork and history of the building. You could tell the hosts really care about the place and want to sustain the original work as much as possible.
It would've been helpful to have a little bigger refrigerator and a small microwave in the room. We were able to use the ones in the common area, but it was less convenient. One of the other tenants was extremely loud and was yelling and slamming doors until about 5am. This is no fault of the hosts, but I think it should be mentioned, as the walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors if they're very loud.
