It is a cabin in the woods near the beautiful town of Lamlash. Perfect to travel all over the island, be it by bus or car or walking via the main circular road or over the Ross. The cabin was spacious and comfortable.

The cabin could get cold and damp even with heating on, but to be fair the rain was on and off all week, luck of the draw for last week. More insulation may be required but as I said, it's a cabin in the woods. Gas is always better for heating than electricity but using the coin meter meant I could budget easily.

The images shown on booking are slightly inaccurate, However, it is a Beautiful location... Clean, and has everything required for a self catering stay... Lovely sense of solitude but also local stores with friendly and welcoming staff... That are only a walk away ... Also Site Manager available for any mishaps that may happen.

Images of interior slightly mismatch on booking.com ... The lodge itself has all you need for self catering stay... I arrived after a flash frost and the lodge needed heating... Very expensive initially as it has a coin meter and the rates were much higher than expected... However, once heated and with advice and help from the new owner and site manager this was a wonderful experience that I will be forever grateful for. The bathrooms could do with a bit of upgrading due to excessive condensation but there are clearly improvements being made on the site due to constructive communication with the owner and site manager... I defitively would return to that lodge when I revisit Arran if I wish to visit the south 😊

De locatie was prachtig en goed onderhouden.

Het huisje is wat verouderd, maar voldoet prima.

Die Lage ist super, alles notwendige war gut erreichbar.

Um Strom zu haben, müssten £1,-- Münzen in den Zähler eingeworfen werden. (Wurden bereitgestellt). Hat man das vergessen, gab es keine Heizung und kein Licht. Die Matratzen waren unglaublich hart.
