Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful. Unfortunately, we arrived on Saturday and went to use the oven on Sunday and it lit up like a firework. I called the emergency number and they sent out someone from the realty office to look at it on Monday. Then a repair man came later on Monday afternoon. He said the part they needed was available locally but he wasn’t sure if they’d pay the extra money rather than ordering it online at a cheaper price. Apparently they had to order it and the part wasn’t replaced until late on Wednesday afternoon. We bought food but weren’t able to cook anything from Sunday to Wednesday. I asked someone from the realty (Pam) to see if they would reimburse us for some of the meals we had to eat out. She kind of laughed at me. I know the oven breaking was nobody’s fault but I think I should have gotten something in return for the inconvenience for not being able to cook. This was the second house we rented in Long Bay Estates that had a broken oven. We also rented the house because beach access was located right across the street from the property. Unfortunately, you needed a key to access the beach and the realty said they did not have one.
