Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from main train station. It's on a main street but the apartment is at the back of the building's court yard, so no traffic noise can be heard.
We booked it for the character and it delivers, you haven't stayed anywhere like this before. Loved the lighting, really well thought of.
There were drinks for us - coffee pods, tea bags, bottle water, milk and wine! Lots of small food shops to choose from to buy breakfast and excellent ice cream parlour across the street.
If you have mobility issues, make sure you take the ground floor bedroom as the top floor one is not for you! Very quirky stairs, but that's the charm of this place!

The location was absolutely perfect for getting around Rome and seeing everything in Monte as well as the areas. Most attractions were less than a 30 minute walk. The layout of the apartment was so convenient for my group of 3. It was very welcoming and comfortable. They also allowed for me to meet with them early to drop off my bags. Made it super easy to get my 1st day of vacation started early! The location is also behind a locked outer door, which just makes the whole stay feel more secure!
The additional room fees could only be paid in cash, which was I was unaware of until the night before checkout. Caused me to have to make a bank trip at 1am to get cash out as I had made sure to spend all my Euro before my trip ended. Not a huge deal, just something to be aware of when preparing for your fee payments.

Loved the historical features plus modern comforts (AC, espresso machine & phone charging)
The washing machine was a little tricky to open, but it worked fine and we appreciated clean laundry in the hot summer.

We were welcomed by Marta, who was exceptional. She gave us great tips of Rome. The apartment had everything, even some wine and pasta.
