The unit itself exceeded all of my expectations. It could not have been better. The location is absolutely prime. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed, and the place was tastefully decorated with a beautiful soft lighting scheme. This place is very well-suited for an extended stay in Torino. A great value for the money I paid!

The collection of the tourism tax was a complete mess. This is the only place I stayed all summer where I was not offered the opportunity to pay it cash or card in person. The host's agent preferred IBAN, which is not an option for American travelers. I then tried paying it through PayPal, but the host's phone number was linked to another account. At that point, the host's agent began questioning my integrity in a way that I found completely unprofessional and inappropriate. She accused me of trying to avoid paying the tax. I had never been in a situation where the host questioned my personal character like this. If you don't have IBAN, my recommendation would be to insist paying the tax to a person on arrival (it is an option -- they just don't tell you). If the host's agent had not personally insulted me before arriving, my stay would have been absolutely perfect.
