Everything about this apartment is pure perfection. Everything you could possibly need is supplied, the beds are very comfortable, the decor is top notch, view is breathtaking and the location is ideal for exploring but also getting a feel for an authentic neighborhood. I’d stay here again and again. Communication was fantastic and check-in was easy. There’s not a single thing I’d change.

We were convinced that we struck gold when we found this apartment on VRBO, and we were not disappointed. This outstanding property went beyond our highest expectations. It is centrally located on the lovely Oltrarno in a grand, historic palazzo. The apartment has been completely renovated while preserving its original beauty. The owners have added fantastic enhancements like a modern, open kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and a charming window (with river views) over an elegant bronze sink and faucet. The living/dining room has 4 large windows overlooking the Arno and a custom entertainment center with a large built in flat screen TV. We especially loved the gorgeous hand-painted landscape scene that brought the countryside of Florence into the apartment. The dining room has a lovely marble top table with plenty of seating for guests. The two comfortable bedrooms have views of the famous Santo Spirito, large custom closets with built in drawers, and stunning, spacious marble bathrooms. The furnishings throughout the apartment are beautiful, and the lighting is fabulous. The property is literally steps from all of the wonders of Florence and the finest shops in Italy. The views are spectacular at any time of the day. However, it is magical to look out at the Arno and enjoy gazing at Florence by night every evening. The owners and property manager could not have been more accommodating. We are already making plans to return to this 5-star gem next year!
