It was a great value compared to less attractive apartments just a few blocks away. The apartment was tastefully decorated, roomy and comfortable. The larger kitchen in this unit allowed us to cook when we wanted to without feeling cramped. Overall it was great.
The street noise is something to be aware of. The apartment is very safe - it’s situated next to a police station and close to a hospital. So we heard sirens pretty frequently and also the tram passes by just under the bedroom windows. We recommend shutting the windows at night for a sound sleep, or wearing ear plugs! Leaving those windows open during the day helps create a nice cross breeze. The unit has several fans that you can also position for a comfortable night’s rest if you close the windows.
