Dream Paradise Apartment

The apartment was very cosy, clean, and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is also great, very close to the beach.

We had an awesome stay here. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and looked exactly like the photos. Our Hosts were amazing from Check-in, helping us with out luggage and giving us all information we needed with clear instructions, answering any questions we had. They also told us best local activities and adventures which made it easy to explore. Catching the local bus from right outside the house. With local store right across the street and restaurants all within walking distance everything was so convenient

Nach einer langen Anreise wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen! Glücklicherweise wurde uns ein früherer Check-In ermöglicht. Wir wurden mit einer frischen Kokosnuss begrüßt und erhielten direkt ein paar extra Tipps. Obwohl unsere Gastgeber am nächsten Tag verreisten, waren sie für Fragen sehr gut erreichbar. Unser WLAN-Signal war an einem Abend weg und innerhalb von 10 Minuten wurde sich, trotz der Distanz, gekümmert. Die Lage ist super. Die Unterkunft liegt in der Back Road des Ortes, dadurch ist es sehr ruhig. Man hört nur zwischendurch die Hunde und Hähne in der Nachbarschaft (auch nachts). Cafés, Restaurants und kleine Supermärkte (ein "Supermarkt" ist direkt gegenüber) sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Meer ist 3 Minuten entfernt - unbedingt auf die Tide achten! Der Ortsbus hält ebenfalls direkt vor der Türe und fährt alle 20 Minuten nach Sigatoka.

Die Matratze ist leider nicht sehr bequem, da sich hier der Federkern durchdrückt. Die Wohnung war an sich sehr sauber, jedoch waren in den Abflüssen noch Haare von den Vorgängern. Zum Kochen gibt es nicht viele Möglichkeiten - wie hatten übersehen, dass es keine Herdplatte gibt. Es gibt einen Reiskocher und eine Elektropfanne. Uns persönlich hat es nicht gestört.

Easy location to catch the local buses. Bed was comfortable, pretty little garden with nice wooden seat. Had all the basics and hosts were friendly to provide help. Very private stay. There are some general stores at walking distance, western style cafe, small take-away food shops, and a good restaurant at Ramada - medium range price, very good food. Not too far either there are higher end resorts for those with a fancier taste.

We stayed at the studio, and in one night the guests upstairs were loud until 3am :( - the host did apologise for that. There is a water tank next to the accommodation and the pump is a bit noisy - ear plugs and closing the window at night were enough to minimise that and it did not keep us awake. We didn't expect luxury at budget accommodation, but some further information on the property description would be useful to help us plan better: 1. it says toiletries provided - body wash was available, but no shampoo and conditioner. 2. The kitchen is very basic, no cooktop, one rice cooker and one electric pot - we asked for a large chopping knife and managed to make a nice fish with boiled cassava for dinner. We probably could have asked to borrow a chopping board too...
