Amazing location needed attention to detail from cleaning staff

The location was amazing. Right on the water with a private bit of land. The size of the lodge was also great. Really warm showers and a working radiator.

When you pay the money for a location like this, you would expect to get attention to detail. It wasn't clean, there were crisps and yoghurt packets pushed down the settee. Cobwebs in the roof and the cutlery and plates needed a clean before use. The kitchen cupboards were also dirty. These are things that you don't expect to happen with the expense paid. We only stayed 2 out of the 3 nights planned. The beds were uncomfortable and didn't meet the needs of a family. Also the hot tub was way too hot, a bloke came around in the morning and said it needs cold water every day. Which I cannot understand. He also said it looks like the nozzle has been pinched so he cannot fill it up. ' but he wouldn't expect anything less from this area about things going missing' didn't leave much confidence in the security The patio looked like the previous tenants had been sick on it. Something bac quick jet wash would have fixed. This is a place id recommend for having a party, but not for our family of 6 I'm afraid It all looks like a rush cleaning job, but with a 5 hour turnaround between check in check out and the price paid. You would expect more.
