The only reason why we opted for this hotel was it being adjacent to the Dar al Bayan (now defunct, replaced by another hotel) where we lived with family and its staff (all of them) was so amazing. Otherwise, this hotel was never worth its money.
Staff is rude, hotel is dirty, rooms have flies. This hotel is on a hill and we had to pick our luggage as no staff helped us and plain refused us to help. We asked them to keep our luggage as we wanted to go to Medina for a few days and they refused it too. This hotel is rudeness and awful manners personified.
The only reason I am giving it even 6 is the beautiful memories of the Umrah and the old hotel (Dar al Bayan)’s lovely staff.
