You'll find a kayak on site at this family-friendly cottage. Lake Travis is an easy 11-minute walk away, so you can leave your car at the property, which offers onsite parking, or jump in your vehicle to make the 13-minute drive to Lago Vista Golf Course.

After you return, you can unwind by the outdoor pool or sip a drink on the balcony; you may also like the BBQ grill. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi, TV, video-game console, and DVD player.

As you settle into this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom rental, you'll find air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a desk. Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a dishwasher, as well as an ice maker, a microwave, and cookware. And because there's a washer and dryer, you can go a bit lighter on your packing.
