You'll find a kayak on site at this family-friendly cottage. Jump into your car and make short work of the 11-minute drive to Fred Meijer Heartland Edmore Trailhead or the 27-minute drive to Clifford Lake (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).
Once you get back, you can enjoy your surroundings with the firepit and BBQ grill. For a change of scenery, come inside and try your hand at table tennis and billiards, or enjoy the free WiFi and flat-screen TV.

This is an adorable location on the water for a small family. Our only major hiccup was that the hosts provided ZERO communication, both prior and during our stay, and after numerous attempts to reach them. The facility was very smoky when we arrived and the gas stove barely works. Old and used feminine hygiene products were in the bathroom and quite smelly, and there was only one washcloth for our whole family. And there are no hot pads or kitchen towels for taking items out of the stove. Very simple things that could have been remedied or even a text during the stay (rather than 10 minutes AFTER our departure) to say they were sorry. What could have been fantastic just made a lot more work, cleaning, and scurrying around for us….
