Maison Salva by Santas Hotels

The hotel made contact before arrival to warn us about noise levels as the fiestas would be taking place during our stay. It was a great vibe (highly recommend visiting for these fiestas), it was very good of them to reach out in case guests would find this a problem, we loved it!! From start to finish our stay was fabulous. The hotel is in a lovely location, clean, beautifully decorated and the staff were lovely too. The small terrace area on the 1st floor is also lovely. We can not wait to visit again.

There was nothing not to like about this hotel!

Lovely staff. Great location in between beach front & high church. Rooms spacious & well equipped. No outside noise heard. Lovely upstairs outdoor terrace with comfy chairs to enjoy a glass of wine or too bought from the shop across the road.

Not a fan of sliding bathroom doors, but didn’t affect our stay.

Location, and the beauty of the property, the rooms where comfy, quiet and lovely.

The bathroom doors in each room, are terrible, non practical at all, there is no privacy at all, not nice if you are sharing the room, even if its your partner. I didn’t like the lack of privacy while using the bathroom.

We absolutely loved our stay at Maison Salva. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and smells absolutely divine! Our room was gorgeous, with a lovely boutique feel and a Juliet balcony overlooking the pretty streets of Altea. Check-in was at 3pm, but I messaged beforehand to ask if we could leave our bags as we were arriving around 11am. At 11am I received a message to say our room was already ready, which was such a lovely surprise and a perfect start to our stay. There were lots of thoughtful little touches in the room, including an espresso coffee machine with pods, milk and biscuits, as well as complimentary water in the fridge, all replenished daily. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom and we had fresh towels each day. There’s also a lovely terrace where you can sit and relax. We happened to be staying during a parade and were able to sit on the terrace and watch it, which was a brilliant bonus! The location is excellent – close to the beach and promenade, within easy reach of Altea Old Town, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and places to eat and drink. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, including arranging taxis for us whenever we needed them. Nothing felt like too much trouble. We would 100% recommend Maison Salva and would definitely stay here again if we return to Altea in the future.
