São Lourenço Guest House

Die Lage ist sehr schön man sollte aber ein Fahrzeug haben oder gerne laufen. Es gibt immer Betrieb im Haus, das kann je nach Gästen gut oder nervig sein. Alle Ausstattungsmerkmale sind vor ort gegeben und werden mit bis zu 16 personen geteilt , je nach Buchungslage . Der Besitzer und die Putzfrau sind ständig präsent und hilfsbereit mit übersetzungsapp kann man sich mitteilen. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist sehr gut und recht neu .

Unser gebuchtes Zimmer wurde in booking mit 30 qm beschrieben hatte aber höchstens 18 qm inclusive Bad . Das war uns definitiv zu klein und da man kaum lüften konnte, ohne das jeder der vorbeiläuft direkt ins Bett schauen kann, hat dieser Umstand uns schon sehr geärgert und man konnte trotz bequemen bett nicht schlafen bei 28 grad im Raum. Trotz Beschwerde und freiem grösseren Zimmer wurde uns nicht geholfen ( nur gegen Aufpreis Angeboten)

De ligging en de faciliteiten

De standaard kamer die wij hadden, had heel weinig daglicht en was erg warm onder het dak. Toegang naar dak terras is via een klein deurtje.raampje of via de hal naar een gewone deur

Very clean and had lots of facilities like the pop, sauna and gym. Room was a good size and had a small kitchen, we had a private balcony as well so that was nice and we could come and go as we pleased. No noise overall good.

The only contact with the owner / staff was via WhatsApp, this took time for replies. Was not happy with the need to request more toilet paper having only being left with one on arrival for a 5 day stay and told it had to be bought at an extra cost. I understand need to have extra costs on shampoo coffee etc but with the rate we paid I would expect toilet paper to be provided. We had to buy from the corner shop. Also advertised as having an iron available, I requested this via WhatsApp but received no reply, I had to request this using google translate to a gentleman cleaning the pool. He was a very pleasant and did locate one for me. Also the need to book sauna/ hot tub etc and to be clock watched was not pleasant. The apartments were not particularly busy and I’m sure as grown ups we could leave a hot tub if someone else wanted to use this. On the occasion we booked the sauna we ran into traffic and were late to our slot, we use the sauna for 10 - 15 mins and ran over by a few minutes (no one else was waiting to use it!) and the man was stood tapping his watch. This made us feel uncomfortable. However these were the only negatives of these can be addressed it was a lovely place.

Appartement aan de kleine kant, weinig bewegingsruimte. Service in de keuken was vuil, alles eerst moeten afwassen voor gebruik. Badkamer is zeer klein. Alsook was er een conciërge aanwezig die steeds naar podcast op zijn gsm luisterde op speaker met een luid volume. Als je ging zwemmen zat hij ook gewoon toe te kijken.
