Being close to my family
The moldy bathroom ceiling, the fact that the self catering consists of a small counter fridge, a microwave and a kettle that is all. The paint pealing of the wall in the bedroom, the cobwebs in the cupboards and by the bed side tables. Electrical connections ran off extension leads that have not been tested and certified.

Very cozy place in a beautiful area. Perfect for a short term stay with everything you may need. The bed was comfortable. Our host was pleasant and accommodating, and was kind enough to let us check in early, and even left some treats for us in the fridge. We felt safe and at home.
The only issue we had were the roads, but if you drive carefully they're manageable

Very neat and cozy spot. We enjoyed the braai and watched a movie comfortably on the couch. Very nice kitchenette with milk, awesome coffee, and juice. Thank you!
It was very hot! Please invest in a fan for guests. Even with the windows open, it was uncomfortable. Or maybe remind guests to bring their own.

We had a lovely short trip here. Guy went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. The linen is soft, shower is amazing, and just a short walk down to the beach. Basic kitchenette – microwave, crockery, mini fridge (but no stove).
The space could do with just a little more surface area for food preparation
