Great jumping off point for outdoor pursuits of all kinds in North Georgia’s slice of Blue Ridge Mountains heaven! I came to the mountains because I needed a respite. I couldn’t have asked for a better place! The cabin was wonderful with all of the things I needed….a babbling brook right outside my bedroom window, black out drapes (for catching up on sleep with naps during the day), a screened-in porch 15 feet from the creek, perfect blankets to wrap around me as I listened to music or watched TV at night. Cool weather (about 10 degrees lower than my home in Atlanta) was a plus AND I had 3 gorgeous weather days. The cabin, it’s location, everything in it was perfect for a 3 night stay. I did get out and explore which was good for my soul…..Brasstown Bald was spectacular, Bell Mountain, Vogel State Park and a Blood Mountain hike. The last night we had a spring thunderstorm roll through. The sound of the rain on the roof and the soft sounds of distant thunder was so soothing. The cabin is 5 stars, for sure. I loved it! Thank you Danielle and Chris for letting me use your cabins for a few days.

What a fantastic place. Perfectly between Blairsville and Young Harris easy to get to hiawassee. Was exactly what we needed. Definitely be back.
