Clematis Cottage is very clean and well equipped.
The welcome package of tea, milk, cakes and cheese was lovely and thoughtful.
Well-maintained garden which is a good size.
The bathroom is very large and the shower worked a treat.
Kitchen has a good range of equipment.
The vintage tearoom next door is excellent and we would recommend. Tealby itself is a picturesque little village with walks along the Viking Way and an excellent children's play area in the park.
If we're being picky (this didn't detract from the holiday):
The tumble dryer didn't work and seemed to make our clothes wetter, so we ended up hanging out clothes outside.
A DVD player in the main lounge would be helpful.
The stairs are steep and narrow.

Gorgeous cottage, perfect base for walking the Wolds and visiting Lincolnshire sites - comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, lovely back garden

A charming base in a very pretty village. This was the most well-equipped cottage that I have ever stayed in and there was, in addition, a very thoughtful welcome pack including milk, tea, cheese and wine. A well tended garden was lovely to sit out in.
A wee bit of competition for on street parking with the customers of the tea shop next door but not a huge problem.

Fantastic place! Really cozy and comfortable. We appreciated the welcome pack, which included a birthday cake and candles, as it was my husband's birthday. It's very quiet and the bed was super comfy. There's a lovely tea room two doors down and the pub is a five-minute walk. Definitely recommend!
