Very comfortable facilities and great location. Very helpful host. No issues to be addressed. Would recommend to other travellers.

Nothing comes to mind

Great location close to town centre. Dog friendly cottage with courtyard. Beds were very comfy. Good communication by the host who went out of his way to try and resolve an issue whilst we were there.

Bathroom downstairs may be inconvenient for some but was manageable. Unfortunately there was a bad smell downstairs in the kitchen which despite the cleaner and handyman attending during our stay could not be completely resolved - although we did appreciate the effort made - this did make us reluctant to stay in or cook there. If the owner can get to the bottom of this we would stay again!

The woodburner was really nice in the evenings. Very comfy beds. Superb instructions shared before.

Usually no place to park next to the property. Dishwasher would be a nice addition.

The location was good, very close to the town centre

The property was advertised as a cosy cottage with a log burner, but no logs or kindling were provided. We arrived after the stated 4pm check-in time to find the cottage cold and unable to light a fire, which was disappointing. There were also several issues with cleanliness and basic amenities. Many of the plates were chipped, there was only one cereal bowl available, and the side of the fridge door was noticeably dirty. The layout was another concern. The bathroom is located downstairs, which would be less of an issue if the stairs felt safe, but unfortunately, they seemed quite hazardous and could easily lead to an accident. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations based on the listing.
