our host was the loveliest woman and was very helpful trying to get us to the airport at an ungodly early hour. the location is ideal for those going to TFN, the bus stop is a few minutes walk and then the bus journey is another few minutes. the property is cute and has everything you need for a short stay

getting initial access to the property requires you to call the host, and unfortunately our spanish was not great.

This very affordable, private room in a 2nd-floor (what Americans would call the 3rd floor) apartment. It's about 15 minutes on the bus and a 10-minute walk from TFN airport and the taxi I took back to the airport the following day wasn't expensive at all. . The room is fine with two twin beds, a desk, and a TV. The shared kitchen and shared bathroom both worked well enough for my one night there. The view from the living room is pretty at sunset. There are stores and restaurants within walking distance. . The host, Elena, helped me with my Spanish learning as we didn't have any other common language and she is a wonderful, friendly, helpful host. She lives within the apartment as well but was never intrusive.

The ground floor entry isn't clearly marked but, having read other reviews, I knew this and asked Elena in advance which button to push for entry. . There is no elevator but that is well noted in the property listing. (I'm not lowering the rating for this!)
