What’s not to like? Sweet family run homestay, the two guys are adorable, smiling, and were helpful in planning anything I wanted to do. The room is clean, nice semi outdoor bathroom, each room has a private little porch. Worth noting it’s really at the very back of the road, so a bit of a walk from the main drag, but I think that’s what makes it so peaceful.

I liked everything at Oemah Kangin Homestay. The bed is big and very comfortable, they provide towels and toilet paper (but not any other toiletries, fyi). I liked the small terrace where I could practice yoga by myself. And the outdoor shower / toilet is the best. You will also find a kettle and two cups with some coffee/sugar for you to use. The staff is very responsive and ready to help you with any requests, and it’s just such a lovely family. Their dog is also very cute and friendly. I could also rent a scooter with them and there’s plenty of space for parking. Komang was also really kind to take me to a small temple up the hill, which is only 10 minutes walk from the homestay (very easy walk).

There’s nothing that I didn’t really like. I would only suggest to provide at least hand soap and maybe some tea bags. Anyway these were only small details for me, didn’t affect my stay.

Probably the best location in Amed now. No noise, middle of nature, little forgotten temple at 10min walk (but dont tell anyone!). Clean and waow.

I had bed bugs and had bites all over my body. when I mentioned to the owner she offered only a room but with less facilities and no refund or compensation made. I had to go in different place and clean all my clothes after my stay there... room not clean during the stay. towels poor quality.
